Cover page for a school project of mine. This is my first digital painting in The GIMP... What do you think? I combined a bunch of different techniques... special thanks to :iconantichange:'s tutorial on how to paint clouds [link] Really awesome ^.^

So... yeah... Took about an hour or so. ADVANCED critique would be appreciated... Thanks!

P.S. Gradient maps are SO cool! :D

the balloon looks like it's behind the clouds o.O and i don't think that "The Gimp" needs to be on there UNLESS it's there because of the project xD sky is nice, keep working on the clouds! xD
